In an interesting development, Austrian chef Max Natmessnig is set to depart from the prestigious Dallmayr's gourmet restaurant Alois after a remarkable tenure. Having joined in October and swiftly earned two Michelin stars and four Gault&Millau hats, Max, alongside his wife and restaurant manager Bekah Roberts-Natmessnig, is ready for new challenges abroad. The details of their next venture remain undisclosed, but a move to the USA seems probable. Meanwhile, Souschef Miguel Marques will temporarily take the helm at Alois, with further announcements expected in the fall.
